New Year’s Eve Tejano Dance

You won‚Äôt want to miss the biggest party in Tucson this New Year‚Äôs Eve. Join us in the Bingo Hall at Casino Del Sol for a New Year’s Eve Dance featuring some of the hottest Tejano music acts around. Tejano legend Ruben Ramos will headline the event and will be joined by La Diferenzia, La Maldad and Tucson’s own La Familia Yucupicio.

The show starts at 7:30pm and in traditional fashion menudo will be served at midnight. This event is free and open to the general public so don’t miss out on your chance to ring in the New Year with a whole lot of fun.


Ruben Ramos “El Gato Negro” РBorn in Sugarland, Texas, Ruben Perez Ramos now sits at the helm of a family musical legacy borne over 80 years ago. This legacy РEl Legado Рis set with traditional Mexican roots, was infused with the big-band sound of the 1940s, heavily influenced by blues and rock, and is now perched at the pinnacle of La Onda: Tejano.


After the release of their self-titled debut in 1994, La Diferenzia won the hearts of their fans with chart topping hits such as “Si Lo Quieres,” “Linda Chaparrita,” and “Mundo Sin Guitarras” which soon revolved the group’s LP to gold, then platinum status. La Diferenzia’s quick success took them by storm, conquering venues across the country and landing the progressive Tejano super group onto several popular Hispanic TV shows such as “Sabado Gigante,” “Onda Max,” “Despierta America” and “Primer Impacto,” as well as garnering Grammy and Premio Lo Nuestro nominations.


Based out of San Antonio, Texas, Grupo Maldad was established in September of 2006, and has been playing at various events such as the TTMA Nominees Dance, TTMA Industry Awards, TTMA Fan Fair, Los Aguilares Anniversary Dances, Tejas Records Party, Houston and San Antonio Livestock Show & Rodeo, and also numerous amount of clubs. Every performance is gratifying upon receiving positive feedback from the crowd, as well as fellow musicians.
